The objectives and purposes of the Association are:

  • to promote co-operation and closer relations between parents and the School;
  • to assist the School Council and the School Foundation in raising funds for specific School projects;
  • to provide opportunities for parents and others to meet socially;
  • generally to serve and assist the School and those running it in all matters concerning the advancement, wellbeing and needs of the School and its students;
  • to undertake such specific tasks as may, from time to time, be delegated to it by School Council.

Three members of the Parents' Association are elected to School Council.

Funds raised during 2006 and 2007 and will be used to purchase play equipment and provide other landscaping requirements for the extended play space on the western campus.

In recent years, fundraising by the Association has supported the School in many ways including:

  • the purchase of new play equipment;
  • additional seating around the School campus;
  • re-fencing of the Reception play area in 1999;
  • provision of trophy display cabinets in the library and foyer;
  • shade sails for the Reception sandpit;
  • sound equipment for the School Hall.

Membership of the Association includes:

  • parents of past and present students of the School
  • past students of the School over the age of 18 years
  • any person who may be interested in furthering the objectives and purposes of the Association.

Meetings are held twice each term on Thursday afternoons at 2.15 pm.  Occasionally, extra meetings may be held.
