Thank you for supporting our Long Sunday Sleep-In!

Thanks to the generous support of our community, we raised $16,000! All the proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards Stage 2 of the School’s Master Plan, the redevelopment of the Kennion House site, which will break ground mid next year.

FAQs

+ What if I didn’t have time to pick up my Long Sunday Sleep-In Supply Kit?

If you weren’t able to pick up your Long Sunday Sleep-In Supply Kits before the event, they will be available for collection from the Front Office until Friday 29 November.

+ When were the prizes drawn?

Prizes were drawn on Sunday 17 November at 11.00am at St Andrew’s School, 22 Smith Street, Walkerville. The prize draw took place under the supervision of an independent scrutineer.

+ How will prize winners be notified?

Results will be published on the St Andrew’s School Facebook Page, via email to the school community on Monday 18 November, 2019 and in The Advertiser on Friday 22 November, 2019.

+ Do I have to attend the prize draw to claim my prize?

No. Prizes will be collected by the winners if attending the draw. If the winner/s are not present at the draw, the prize will be available for collection at the St Andrew’s School front office, located at 22 Smith Street, Walkerville, during business hours, with the exception of gift vouchers or tickets, which will be posted or emailed within seven business days of the prize draw.

+ What will the funds raised be used for?

Funds raised from the Long Sunday Sleep-In will go towards the redevelopment of Kennion House, Stage 2 of the School’s Master Plan.

+ Why does the School need to raise money?

For the majority of independent schools in Australia, tuition fees cover only the School’s operating budget. In order to invest in capital projects and programs over and above ‘business as usual’, Schools conduct fundraising campaigns.

For St Andrew’s, fundraising enables us to fast-track projects, like the Master Plan, to make a St Andrew’s education exceptional.
