Vacation care

St Andrew’s Early Learning Centre provides a Vacation Care Program for our ELC children, as well as limited places for children in Reception to Year 2. This leisure program allows children to be supported and cared for in a friendly, familiar and supportive environment during holiday time. Staff are predominantly teachers from the ELC who have built up strong and trusting relationships with the children over one or many years as they move through the School.

Children may arrive from 8:10am and are to be picked up by 6pm. There are no prepared meals during Vacation Care and children are asked to bring along a packed lunch and snacks. Water is readily available but drinks may also be brought in. Unfortunately, we are unable to heat up or re-heat any food or drinks brought from home.

The program of activities is published in our e-newsletter, The Bell, approximately 4 weeks prior to the beginning of Vacation Care. These may include cooking, jumping castles, science days, animals visiting the centre and a range of age appropriate activities.
