Scholarships

St Andrew’s School’s Scholarship Program celebrates our proud tradition of assisting students to benefit from, and contribute to, our academic and co-curricular programs, as well as the School community in general.

Our Program aligns with the vision of our founders who established the School to provide access to elementary children of the industrial classes within the principles of the teaching of the Church of England.

We seek to provide students with the opportunity to study at St Andrew’s School that they may not have otherwise had.

Our Scholarship Program recognises students’ personal qualities, academic achievements and their potential across a range of areas. It also attracts a diverse range of students to the School.

Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate a positive contribution in all aspects of School life as well as maintain a satisfactory standard of academic achievement.

If you would like to tour the School prior to applying, tours with the Principal can be arranged by contacting the School Enrolment Managers, Helen Charles and Brooke Blackburn, on 08 8168 5511 or by email at enrolments@standrews.sa.edu.au

Please note: all Scholarships are open to both external and internal students except Bright Futures which is open to external applicants only.

Applicants are required to demonstrate a range of skills such as the ability to interpret, infer, deduce and think critically. The tests are not curriculum-based and do not test the ability to retrieve learned knowledge, nor are they diagnostic.

The Scholarship has been generously made available by the Stewart's, a former family of St Andrew’s School. Their daughter Ava showed exceptional skills and unbridled passion for all aspects of STEM.

With the knowledge that females are traditionally underrepresented in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, the Stewart's wanted to make a difference to a young girl’s life by offering her the opportunity to explore and enhance her interests in STEM subjects through attendance at St Andrew’s School.

Applications have now closed and will re-open in June 2023.
