Year 6 Camp

From Wednesday 15 to Friday 17 February, students ventured to Victor Harbor for the action-packed Year 6 Aquatics Camp. The camp was preceded with a full day of challenges based at school, where the children had opportunities to use what they had learned from their Myers Briggs personality profiles. They could see how various personality traits were useful when working with others and how similarities and differences make for effective teamwork.

The children then took this understanding with them to Victor Harbor and applied it to the fun challenges and experiences in the water. Activities included kayaking, body boarding and surf rescue. Altogether, we had four days of high energy, fun and friendship.
