Where Bright Futures Begin
From the Deputy Principal - Cathie Egarr
As the term draws to a close at St Andrew's, we are not slowing down. We strive to make the most of every opportunity to provide our children with engaging experiences and meaningful learning moments.
Over the last two weeks, we have strengthened our relationships with families through Parent-Teacher Interviews from ELC to Year 6. We also held Year Level Sports Days in preparation for our Year 3 - 6 Sports Day Finale, which is coming up next Thursday. We have enjoyed listening to rehearsals and music from the School Hall as our Inaugural Musical Theatre Club prepares for their debut performance of Matilda Jr.
Although we are approaching the April school holiday break, we will continue to serve our community through Vacation Care for ELC-Year 2 children and Safari Camp for Years 3 - 6 children. Furthermore, we are continually striving to improve our School and support our families while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment for our entire School community. We will also explore other ways to support families and children during the holiday period later this year.
With one week left in the term, we hope to see many of you at one of our ‘sold out’ Matilda Jr. performances, the Year 3 - 6 Sports Day Finale on Thursday, or our whole School Assembly on Wednesday April 5 in the School Performing Arts Centre at 8.50am.
As this is the final Bell for the term, we wish all our families a safe, happy, and blessed Easter Holiday break.
Cathie Egarr
Deputy Principal
PS. Sometimes, supporting our teachers and 'covering' a lesson brings us pure joy, like with 1C and their Art class, using clay techniques
