Year 3 - 6 Sports Day Finale

The School extends an invitation to all parents, family and friends to the Year 3 - 6 Sports Day Finale, which will take place on Thursday 6 April from 9:25am until approximately 2:35pm at Walkerville Oval.

As per last year, all visitors are to follow the directions below;

• Visitors are allowed to attend but are not permitted in House tents
• All visitors are required to practice good hygiene and practice social distancing
• The Parents' Association will be providing a sausage sizzle, drinks, treats and complimentary tea and coffee for parents on the day. Please refer to this flyer for further information.

A programme for the day will be given to your children prior to the Finale. For our Finale event, children aged 10-12 who have qualified in the top 4 of either Hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Discus or Shot Put will have the chance to win a ribbon. Children who are in any track or field event will be notified by Tuesday 4 April. For children who have not qualified they will be able and expected to be involved in all House events (such as tug-of-rope, running relay, sack race, 3 legged race) for the day.

Students are to arrive to School dressed in their House colour and parents are reminded that it is essential that their child/ren bring/s the following to the Finale:

• Hat

• Sunscreen

• Plenty of water

• Recess

• Packed lunch to eat at oval (healthy food choices)

At the conclusion of the Finale the students will be escorted back to their classes and normal timetabled lessons will occur in the afternoon.
