"The Best Excursion Ever!" – Year 1

This term, Year 1s Unit of Inquiry is Sharing the Planet, where they are investigating how different environments meet the needs of living things. To support this topic, the Year 1 cohort visited Urrbrae Wetlands. During this excursion, students conducted an experiment where they examined the small creatures that live in the water. They then went on an adventurous safari around the grounds, searching for a variety of living things, including birds, insects, and even koalas! Finally, Year 1 students were introduced to some local wildlife, where they learned about their external features and even got to pet some prickly lizards.
