Where Bright Futures Begin
On Tuesday 23 May, six Year 6 students from St Andrew's School had the privilege of attending the annual Combined Anglican Schools Worship Service at St Peter's Cathedral. This event brought students together from 12 Anglican schools in both the Adelaide and Murray Dioceses, alongside their Chaplains, the Archbishop of Adelaide, and the Bishop of the Murray.
During the day, our students actively participated in various workshops, including yoga prayers, origami prayer hearts, and singing. The culmination of our visit to the Cathedral was a worship service involving students from all 12 Anglican schools.
Here are a few reflections from our students about their meaningful experience at the Cathedral:
The Cathedral was beautifully made and the activities and workshops were really fun.- Anthony
I felt proud to read in the Cathedral and the lollies and chips made it really special too!- Joshua
The experience was thrilling and informative. I especially enjoyed the part when a Reverend told a parable.- Evan
