Where Bright Futures Begin

Community and Connection
St Andrew’s School is a wonderful community. I feel the tangible sense of connection as I walk around the campus, attend a range of events both at school and in other locations, and in my many and varied conversations with students, staff, parents, caregivers and even with members of the broader Walkerville community.
In the past week alone, I have:
- enjoyed cheering for our students alongside parents and staff in the rain and wind at the Oakbank Racecourse for the Cross Country State Day
- had rich conversations with staff at my weekly ‘networking lunch’ that I host each week with five different staff in my office
- reflected with the Town of Walkerville Mayor Melissa Jones about the stunning community that is Walkerville and St Andrew’s School’s important place in this village
- sipped my latte which was made by our Year 6 students in the Kross Café as I spoke with parents and staff about the diverse opportunities our students are provided, every week.
I love the strong sense of community that is St Andrew’s School and the connection that I already feel with this truly outstanding School.
