What a wonderful way to finish Term 3!

On Wednesday morning we welcomed our youngest chidlren to their Houses of Browne, Eggleton, Lawson and Smith. Children were ‘pied pipered’… with a bagpipe procession to the School Hall. Our School Captains and House Captains then officially welcomed all children to their houses and they were presented with their certificate, and later, with a named bag badge in their house colour and a house pin to wear proudly on their uniforms. Another sense of belonging to their house and their school.

Our bagpiper then led the children to the Treehouse for a play and we all enjoyed morning tea with parents and friends.

In the evening on the same day, we were entertained by our flagship ‘St Andrew’s in Concert’ event. Imagine having all children perform from Years 3-6 as well as many of our signature ensembles and bands.

The joy and enthusiasm from children was delightful. What a talented group of students, and of course teachers, we have in our Music Department.

Term 4 promises to be full of more significant events and milestones. Please refer to the School Calendar for events coming up.

Wishing you all a lovely holiday break.
